I can understand the desperation in trying to get food, water and diapers for survival, but “looting” for material possessions and stealing from your neighbors who evacuated is disheartening. This is being broadcast world wide, what message are we portraying??

I’m going to go ahead and call “Bulsh*t” on that FoxNews report. AK-47s are heavily-regulated firearms that are almost impossible for criminals to obtain in the United States.
They might be WASR-10s or other firearms that look like AK-47s, but there is a workd of difference between a real AK and a wannabe in terms of firepower.

Living in Louisiana and having been to N.O. several time, let me put this in perspective. The former govenors, state reps., mayors and council members of N.O. should all be held accountable. This has been known for decades and NOBODY did anything to build higher and better dikes around the lake. Secondly, N.O. is an extremely dangerous city. High crime and corruption at the city level, not to mention state. Most of the people are unemployed in the first place. Bush should have had the military in the next day instead sitting on his butt. I new the people would act like this. The city is full of uneducated criminals.

I got eye witnesses that seen whitey blow that levee.
